I’m confused. I thought The Beatles held the record with 27 number one hits but apparently Elvis Presley has 30 number one hits.
I think it depends on which charts you use and for which country. For instance, George Strait has 57 #1 hits on the US Country charts. If you’re just going by the US Top 100, then the list cited above by Mark V is correct.

The person who holds the record for most #1 hits, regardless of what charts they’re on and regardless of what country they become hits in, is currently country artist George Strait, with around 57 #1’s (possibly more by now for all I know).
As for between the Beatles and Elvis, I honestly don’t know who had more #1’s but I can say that the Beatles have sold more records than Elvis…so has Garth Brooks.

the beatles they had so many they realsed and album in 2000 called one with some of their #1s on it they hd actully about 41 between john and paul if yu count geroge and ringo i think its 44
