*After phone call with Sheila*
Joe- So what do you guys think of Sheila?
Nick- She sounds ok but we didn’t talk to her long so I’m still not sure.
Kevin- I agree with Nick but she sounds like she would be a great friend.
Joe- Awww come on I know you guys didn’t talk to her long but she really is a good friend.
Nick- What does she look like again?
Joe- She has jet black hair and I think dark brown eyes she’s pretty thin but not anorexic. She’s funny and she loves us. She is pretty protective of her sister but she trusts people after a while if she likes you.
Kevin- I hope she likes me fo me not just because I’m a Jonas Brother.
Nick- Kevin you are THE jonas brother since you are the oldest. If she doesn’t like you she doesn’t like any of us.i
Joe- Would ya stop ganging up on her. Jeez she loves all of us including Kevin and Frankie even though you are her favorite Nick.
Nick- Yea I know all of the girls love me cuz I’m the best of us *Smiles and does a 360 turn*
Joe- Oh shut up Nick. I’m the one they really want *Smiles and poses*
Kevin- Yea you two aren’t conceded at all. So Joe when do we meet your new best friend?
Joe- Well since tomorrow’s sunday we could meet her then. Do we have anything planned?
Nick- We should go ask dad.
Joe- I’ll go
I ran down the stairs and into the living room.
Joe- Hey mom, hey dad
Denise- Hi sweetie.
Paul-*Glanced up at me from the television* what do you want Joeseph?
Joe- What are you talking about? I don’t want anything. nothing at all.
Denise- Well if you don’t want anything, which would be unusual, why aren’t you with your brothers?
Joe- I’m here because I love you guys and I was wondering if me, Nick and Kevin have any publicity things tomorrow.
Paul- Actually tomorrow all you have to do is go to visit Ryan Seacrest and do an interview around 8
Joe- Oh ok. After the interview can Nick, Kevin and I go to visit a friend of mine?
Paul- She isn’t one of those crazy fans that want to use you is she?
Joe- No she’s the opposite. She’s funny nice. She’t totally outgoing and likes being herself. So can we go? *puppy dog face & eyes* Please please please please please
Paul- *cuts Joe off* Ok you guys can go. Just stop saying please. It gets annoying.
Joe- YES!!!! Thank you. Thank you thank you dad. I’ll go tell Nick and Kevin.
I ran up the stairs and I saw Nick and kevin about to come down when I tripped.
Nick & Kevin- *Laughing really hard*
Joe- Ow!!! That is not funny

Nick & Kevin- Jyinx. Knock on wood
Nick- ha you owe me a soda
Kevin- You win this time Nicholas.
Joe- Now that your weirdness has stopped dad said we can go see Sheila tomorrow after our interview with Ryan Seacrest
Nick- Ugh do we really have an interview with Ryan Seacrest?
Kevin- Please tell me that you are lying.
Joe- I’m not lying we really do have an interview with Ryan Seacrest. He’s not that bad he just likes to twist our words and cause drama. That’s his job.
Nick- True but he is kinda nice.
Kevin- Joe don’t you need to call Sheila and ask her if we can go to her house.
Joe- Right I forgot about that. I’m going to go call her now
I ran down the hallway and into my room. I jumped on my bed and looked at my posters

I dialed Sheila’s number and hoped she would pick up
Joe- Pick up pick up pick up pick-
Sheila- Hey Joe
Joe- How did you know it was me?
Sheila- A. Caller ID B. you called earlier with this number. Duh!!
Joe- *blushing* Yea I forgot about that.
Sheila- Yea you forget a lot of things. You remind me of my friend Samantha from the city. She’s a great friend but she forgets alot of things you tell her. So Jonas why are you calling me at this late hour?
Joe- It’s not that late its *looking at my squirrel clock* 10:30. Oh it is late.
Sheila- I told you so.
Joe- Yea yea anyways I wanted to know if me, Nick & Kevin could come over to your house tomorrow after our interview with *groans* Ryan Seacrest.
Sheila- Sure. Call me after the interview so I can get the food for you guys. Ryan Seacrest isn’t bad he’s just really good at his job. All you have to do is watch what you say. I know how hard that is for you Joe.
Joe- That was one time! One Time!(AN: Justin bieber reference) Once and you guys assume I’ll do it again. Gosh
Sheila- Relax I was just kidding.
Joe- Yea I know. I’m going to sleep. Goodnight Sheila.
Sheila- Goodnight Jonas. Tell Nick and Kevin that I said goodnight. Don’t forget Jonas!!
Joe- Yea Yea. Night *hangs up*

“Because” is a ballad written by John Lennon (credited to Lennon/McCartney) and performed by The Beatles. It features a 3-part harmony vocal performance between Lennon, McCartney and George Harrison, overdubbed three times to make nine voices in all. The results of this have been compared in sound to the Beach Boys.[citation needed] It appeared on the 1969 album Abbey Road, and is the song that precedes the extended medley that formed side two of the original LP record.
Composition:
The song begins with electric harpsichord played by George Martin and then joined by Lennon’s guitar doubling the harpsichord and played through a Leslie speaker. Vocals and bass guitar enter in what Alan Pollack calls the “mini-bridge.”
The song was one of the few Beatles songs to include an analogue synthesizer arrangement (although analog keyboards such as the Mellotron had been used often by The Beatles, few songs featured the use of a traditional analog synthesizer with voltage-controlled oscillators). The Beatles at the time of Abbey Road were among the first contemporary rock bands to experiment with the Moog synthesizer (the first, or at least the first to chart on the top 40, had been The Monkees).
According to Lennon, “Because” was inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”. “Yoko was playing Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’ on the piano … I said, ‘Can you play those chords backwards?’, and wrote ‘Because’ around them. The lyrics speak for themselves … No imagery, no obscure references.”
Recording:
The main recording session for “Because” was on 1 August 1969, with vocal overdubs on 4 August, and a Moog synthesizer overdub by George Harrison on 5 August.[5] As a result, this was the last song on the album to be committed to tape, although there were still overdubs for other incomplete songs.
A vocals-only version of the song can be found on Anthology 3 and Love and is an example of three part harmony from Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison, although the latter is slowed down and includes quiet nature sound effects. Both versions include the ‘Ahh’ at the beginning.
Album:
Anthology 3 is a compilation album by The Beatles released in October 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. The album includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final two years of the band’s career, ranging from the initial sessions for The Beatles (also known as The White Album) to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in later 1969 and early 1970.
Following “Free as a Bird” in Anthology 1 and “Real Love” in Anthology 2, a third John Lennon solo demo entitled “Now and Then” was to be reworked by the three surviving members of The Beatles for Anthology 3. However, it was decided against due to complications and sound quality issues involving Lennon’s recording. In its place is “A Beginning,” an orchestral instrumental track initially intended for The White Album.
Similar to the previous Anthology albums, the cover image painted by Klaus Voorman features a collage of The Beatles-related imagery designed to appear as a wall of peeling posters and album covers. An updated picture of Voorman can be seen in George Harrison’s hair in a segment of the Revolver album cover.
This was the group’s third double album in a row to go to #1 on the American charts, equaling a record set by Donna Summer back in the 1970s.

Joe P.O.V.
I sat on my bed looking around my room. I still hadnt hung any pictures up. My room was still really bland and didnt have any of “me” in it. I hopped off my bed and went to my closet and found a huge box filled with posters and pictures. I pulled it from the corner and took them out, one by one. I started putting picture frames around my room. Friends and family. I grabbed some thumbtacks and put up a couple posters. I emptied the box and folded it, pushing it under my bed. I glanced around my room. It was actually looking like a bedroom now. I had The Beatles posters and pictures of my family strung around the walls and on my furniture. I looked in my closet again to see what else I could find. I shoved everything in here when we moved and never looked again. I spotted my guitar case and smiled a little. I grabbed it and put it on my bed, closing the closet door with my heel.
I opened my case to reveal The Black Pearl. I picked it up. I wiped a few dust specks off it and strummed it. It was still perfectly in tune. I havent played in so long its crazy. I sat in my window seat and started playing. I messed around with chords for about an hour before I found a rhythm and chords I liked.
I played it a few times before I added in some lyrics I had been thinking of for the past few hours. If writing a song to get out feelings can work for Nick, it can work for me:

I hit the last chord and smiled. I liked that. Now about Hailey…
I had been sitting here for 45 minutes and I still had nothing written down. I crumpled up yet another piece of paper and tossed in the general direction of my trash can. I groaned in frustration and tore up the newest note into a dozen pieces before just tossing them over my shoulder. Why was this so hard? “Ugh, Ill never get it right!” I growled as the pieces of paper covered my floor.
“She’ll come around.”
I turned to see Kevin standing in the doorway making his way over to my bed. He sat down and I sighed. “Kevin…I need your help.”
He smiled and planted himself on the end of my bed. “Anything. You havent asked for advice or help in forever, so what ever you need me for, Im here.” he looked around my room. “You finally settled in. Nice to see that progress.” he smiled.
I attempted a smile, but couldn’t. Instead, I dragged my chair over to him. “I screwed up…I don’t know how to get back to my old self. I kinda miss the Joe I used to be. The magazines and dating articles lie. Jerks dont really get the attention they want from girls…”
I looked down at my hands.
“This is because of Hailey…isn’t it?”
My head shot up and I think I started turning a little pink.
Kevin smiled. “I know you wanna make things right. Just go apologize, thats the best place to start.”
I nodded as Kevin smiled and patted my back as he left my room. He was right. I need to go talk to Hailey. And I knew the one place she would be.
