I think they were both equally fantastic.
I’m bored. I wanted your opinion.
I think that even though John said it to shock people and be offensive (IMO), he was right in what he said…….which is always the case with John. In general, to the average teen at that time, the Beatles did mean more to them than Jesus.
This is a video I made for the Beatles set to the song “In My Life.” I tried to use a variety of pictures/clips that showed the various times in their career. I love those guys!!! lol.

Paul says that this line was only meant to fill in, he thought it was daft and conjured up images of pirates with a parrot on their shoulder, but when he played the rough verision to john and informed him "oh I’ll come back later and take this out" John according to Paul said "you won’t you know that’s the best line, I know what you mean, I get it"
everytime he gets to that line Paul remembers John and so do I.
