What are some of the Beatles lesser know songs that are still really good?

I just listened to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (LSD) and its my fav beatles song and i never even heard it before. what are some other ones like this

I would say, listen to ‘You know what to do’ and ‘What you’re doing.’ they are lesser known. They’re early beatles though, if you like Lucy in the Sky then you might like something off the white album. Like, Sexie Sadie or Cry Baby Cry. Have fun listening :)

& Lucy in the sky is not uncommon. lol :)
(also, its about a picture John’s son drew, not lsd…even though it may seem like it; the beatles never wrote songs while on drugs.. only about their experiences.)

Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds was not about LSD. It was a description of a picture drawn by Julian Lennon at school that was brought home and posted on the refrigerator door. Paul once said in a BBC interview that his favorite song was Here, There and Everywhere. John wrote Strawberry Fields Forever about a park by that name that was near his childhood home. Julia was song written to John’s deceased mother (Julia) telling her that he had found true love with Yoko Ono ("Ocean Child"). George wrote Blue Jay Way while waiting for his friends to show up at his California condo (on Blue Jay Way) on an extremely foggy night. While My Guitar Gently Weeps does not feature George’s guitar weeping. It belongs to his close friend, Eric Clapton. A Day In The Life was originally two separate songs that were combined into one. Listen for the voice counting to 23 while the entire orchestra plays every note available on every instrument, from low to high, in a random fashion, only to land in unison on their high note. Taxman ,by George, was a protest against the 95% tax rate that he qualified for in Britain ("one for you, nineteen for me – Taxman!"). Norwegian Wood – a song about arson. There are a lot of great songs.

I think most of the Beatles’s work was good. Regardless of their ranks in obscurity or not, pretty much all of them were good.

But I must add that my favorite song from the beatles is "Girl." I think that Might qualify as ‘lesser known’

LSD is not lesser known. "the one after 909", "matchbox", "hey bulldog", ‘i’ve got a feeling’, ‘being for the benefit of mr kite’ to name a few … my favorite is across the universe, but it is not lesser known to me … the guitar work in "and your bird can sing is unsurpassed" it deserves to be heard on good audio equipment … John and George really did some amazing things … don’t forget norwegian wood "ill cry instead" "you’ve got to hide your love away" It’s only love" that enough for you??? "another girl"

here’s one ‘world without love", writeen by lennon mccartney under psudenms and recorded by Peter and Gordon

ohhh and yeah "babys in black"
