good list but your … good list but your forgetting some of their best songs…ive just seen a face, dear prudence, lucy in the sky with diamonds, she’s so heavy, etc.
I don’t know how … I don’t know how you could limit yourself to only 20 songs. Choosing the best Beatles songs is like choosing among the stars at night! God bless you Gerry D! That was a great montage. And I especially liked your comment at the end. So true…After almost forty years since their break-up, They are STILL putting modern music to shame!
Problem is most of … Problem is most of em don’t actually get into them after the movie. They like the movie and the movie versions of the songs, and then they’re all snobby and and think they know one thing about the Beatles when they actually don’t. Shit, they should get into the Beatles the way that John, Paul, George, and Ringo intended it, through THEIR music, not some awful, shitty, suck covers. But the people who truly are Beatles fans but like the movie anyway, more power to you.
I think is cool, … I think is cool, that kids who had never listened to the Beatles before, have interest in them after the movie..
It’s like everyday day there are more people “discovering” the Beatles.. I think thats great..
This way The Beatles will last FOREVER!
Honorable mentions- … Honorable mentions- Lucy in the sky with diamonds, I feel fine, 8 days a week, paperback writer, from me to you, ticket to ride, we can work it out. Good list though bro
Yes that’s what I … Yes that’s what I said. Across The Universe was a bullshit movie. Horrible story and plot, AWFUL renditions of classic Beatles songs, and it made kids who had never listened to the Beatles before seeing that movie think they were actual Beatles fans. Everything about that movie was bullshit. Sorry if you liked it but that’s what I think.
