For my art GCSE I have chosen to do a piece on "hidden messages" and I loooove the Beatles. I have heard that they have lots of hidden messages in there songs and sometimes posters. I have looked at lots of stuff on the internet but cant seem to find any explanation. Please can anybody give me any Information about their songs that I could possibly use for this exam. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
it sounds like you’re asking about the "Paul is dead" stuff.
on Sgt pepper: "billy Shears" was Paul’s replacement.
the song "a day in the life, explained the "car crash" paul died in
on Abbey rd: the VW has a plate that reads: "28IF" (paul would’ve been 28 IF, he lived
paul is barefoot in the picture (dead men are buried w/ no shoes
the white album: revolution #9 (played backwards, (it was the age of stoners, don’t be too surprised they were playing these things backwards ..LOL)
there is a short "turn me on dead man"
strawberry fields, on the out/end has john saying.."i buried paul" (he insists this was "cranberry sauce"
there are others

At the end of the song it say paul is dead and Paul replies " buried my body "

Actually the "hidden messages" were found after people looked for them following a conspiracy that Paul McCartney had died and was replaced by a lookalike. Search "Paul is dead" on Wikipedia. In "Glass Onion", specific reference is made to this, but on the "Paul is dead" wiki page you can find a list of songs in which "clues"/"hidden meanings" appear.

also with the ‘paul is dead’ hoax, the song ‘a day in the life’ suggests hidden messages, for example;
"he blew his mind out in a car, he didn’t notice that the lights had changed."
this would be good, because apparantly, paul died in a car accident and was later replaced with ‘a look alike.’ and there is also alot of clues on the abby road cover, such as paul being the only memeber being bare footed, which suggests him being a corpse.
personally, i don’t believe this whole thing, how can you get a paul mccartney look-a-like just like that? hahaha, but i think it would be great to use for you’re art piece, it’s an interesting story.

People think they left hidden messages but the only hidden messages are "turn you on" in some songs and "Got to get you into my life".

The Beatles all adamantly denied putting any messages in their music. Should you believe them? Meh. I’m pretty sure Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds isn’t _just_a picture Julian drew, no matter how many times John and Paul said otherwise.
But something that might actually be interesting and NOT bullshit is Norwegian Wood. John said that was supposed to be a song about his affair without letting his wife know he was having an affair. It could be awesome imagery for an art project. "I looked around and I noticed there wasn’t a chair."
