What is the grammatically correct way for these Beatles lyrics?

I want these lyrics as a tattoo-

Tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun

All the sites I’ve looked at show : Tomorrow may rain, so I’ll follow the sun

Is that right? It doesn’t look right but it could be different lyrically. I’d hate to have a misspelled tattoo! Any thoughts? :-p

I agree ~ "For tomorrow may rain, so I’ll follow the sun" is a better way of saying it. If you want the tattoo like the way Paul sings it, say "for" and use a comma after "rain".

If you want it grammatically correct, it would be "Tomorrow it may rain, so I’ll follow the sun." Lyrically correct would be "Tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun." However, the lyrics are either "But, tomorrow it may…." or "And tomorrow it may…" or "for tomorrow it may.."
