I love all of the lyrics to Strawberry Fields Forever especially ‘Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see’ I also like the line ‘I think er no I mean er yes but it’s all wrong, that is I think I disagree’. I also love I am The Walrus (‘I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together’, it sounds like nonsense, yet it is so meaningful and true.) I also love ‘Across the Universe’ (Words are flowing out like endless ran into a paper cup… it is much a magical song, I almost die every time I hear it). I love all of the Beatles songs and their lyrics especially are amazing. The combination of their music and lyrics makes their songs magical. When I think about it, most of my favourite lyrics were written by John Lennon.
