I like the Beatles, … I like the Beatles, but I have to say being the most successful is more than not sucking. It’s a combination of talent, meeting the right people, having business sense, playing a style that would be accepted in its place and time, good image/PR, hard work, and plenty of luck. Imagine Metallica in a jazz club in 1925, or Tupac at a Victorian ball, or Slipknot playing for the elderly on bingo night. They’re successful for reasonS other than talent, mostly because of their fans.
