Don’t you think that The Beatles song lyrics are just so rich and meanigful?

I mean apart from the beautiful music and stuff if you actually read the lyrics it’s like you’re reading amazing poetry. For example Yesterday. "I’m not half the man I used to be" "love was such an easy game to play". And even fast songs like Hard Day’s Night. "It’s been a hard day’s night and I’ve been working like a dog, it’s been a hard day’s night I should be sleeping like a log". Isn’t that how most people work? There’s just many more.

The majority of them, yeah. There’s a couple of songs that are really simple (ex., "All Together Now"), and don’t have any particular meaning. But for the most part, The Beatles really knew how to make deep, and visual lyrics.
One of my favorite songs is Across the Universe because the lyrics are so poetic and in a way magical, and the sitar/guitar combo used in it really compliments the lyrics.

oh for sure, maybe not so much their early stuff, but in songs like "a day in the life," "something," "across the universe" i find it amazing how they were able to write such lyrics that complement the music perfectly

Almost all of their songs have very deep lyrics, especially their later recordings. Just look at some of them – - like Tomorrow Never Knows, Within You Without You… When you mention poetry, the song that immediately comes to mind is For No One. Just think of the lyrics: "Your day breaks, your mind aches, you find that all her words of kindness linger on when she no longer needs you." It’s absolute prose.

Of course. John Lennon and Paul McCartney are the greatest songwriters in the world. (I haven’t forgotten George and Ringo though!) I mean, just listen to "Let It Be" (that song never fails to cheer me up) or "Nowhere Man". Genius.
