Who was the better songwriter for the Beatles, John Lennon or Paul McCartney?


I think they were both equally fantastic.

    McCartney and Lennon SHARED writing credit on most Beatles songs. Occasionally they just flipped which name was mentioned first on the record’s credits.

    Because they apparently worked together throughout the writing process, its hard to determine which one contributed what to each song.
