    Yes. …
    @ledgo22

Yes. The United States was losing the Vietnam War anyway. John didn’t cause them to lose the war. While John was an incredible accidental political figure, he was not important enough to be murdered. That is to say, they scared him before with surveillance and wire taps and stuff, but they had him under relative control. To murder him right after he released an album about family and growing up in his life would be senseless. I think John’s political days were behind him.

    He didn’t ” …
He didn’t “Potentially”, he did change the world. He changed the world by himself and as a Beatle. Why would they need to worry about a musician when they had many other threats? I don’t believe the government did it. A mentally ill fan killed John.

  5. kasiemba says:

    soooo… no one …
soooo… no one here thinks this was a government-type conspiracy to terminate someone who could potentially change the world????

  6. JackHauss says:

    Yeah he couldn`t …
Yeah he couldn`t have killed a worse person in terms of profile. He will never get out on that reason alone, the parole board will never get the guts to do it because they don`t want to be responsible for the lawsuits. For example this is in New York which is pretty much is the sue capitol of the world, and say someone tries to shoot Chapman and misses and hits someone else, guess who they are going to sue?

@mrceebees14 I mean Generations of serving jail time is no match to take anyones life famous or not

  8. mrceebees14 says:

Sorry, I ran out of …
Sorry, I ran out of space.

I agree with the last part and I think that most would. To set him free would mean a death sentence and with the scrutiny our judicial system already gets, it would be nearly impossible to defend that decision.

  9. mrceebees14 says:

    I am going to …
I am going to disagree with you because of how long it has been. He has been in jail for an entire generation and times are different now. A-lot of the fans are much older, they aren’t in their 20′s anymore, they have families and responsibities and time does tend to mellow people out.

But there are those random nuts that would want to make a name for themselves and off him for killing their idol. I would bet his killer would be MUCH younger then him and not even alive when this happened.

  10. NeilFraudstrong says:

    I think two weeks …
I think two weeks is an over estimate. I think that people would converge on Attica and lynch him. I know that sounds crazy, but I really believe that is what would happen. I mean, he’s in an isolated ward of the prison for his own safety because he murdered John Lennon, just imagine if he got paroled.

He’ll never be paroled though. The case is too high profile and John was too famous. There is no possible chance that he will get parole. I can’t envision any scenario where he would get it

  11. mrceebees14 says:

    Why do they even …
Why do they even give Chapman a parole board meeting? He is never, ever getting out unless it’s in a body bag.

To free this lunatic would automatically make the justice department guilty of murder in the first degree. They have to know that he would not live within 2 weeks before Beatles/John Lennon fans got a hold of him and ripped him to shreds.

    @skaterchad69

I am not exactly sure, but I do know that the actual gun is on display at the New York City Police Museum along with a couple of other items of evidence from various notable crimes.

    It seems an …
It seems an incredible coincidence that just as Reagan takes the white house that Lennon is taken out. I heard somewhere that after Chapman failed to commit suicide he heard an ‘angels’ voice tell him to kill Lennon. However the story is so shrouded in mystification that we will never know the truth.

  14. sugarraygras says:

    They will never get …
They will never get a proper investigation into the subject because it would raise to many inconvenient questions for too many people, which is why it will forever reside in the conspiracy theory dustbin. It would take an incredible person with a substantial amount of authority to be able to raise the investigation and nobody with that level of power would ever question the status quo.

  15. Exiles800 says:

    The CIA World …
The CIA World Vision connections should be investigated. If MDC was Manchurian Candidate brainwashed it should be investigated if there was a time or place where it was done? Or spooks in close contact with him. Maybe they had high tech where it could be done without detection? The means is very difficult to prove. Perhaps experts could hypnotize MDC and see if there’s anything still in there? The hypocrite claims by MDC are very similar to what Hoover did to MLK. That could be evidence.

  16. sugarraygras says:

Oh he did it. A …
Oh he did it. A professinal would have raised too many questions. The lone nutter theory is always a perfect cover. What I find strange is how the Lone nutter never gets the bad guys!

  17. sugarraygras says:

    The only truth is …
The only truth is that there are many holes in the supposed original story. It depends on the source material. However I dont find it hard to believe that certain powerful people would want Lennon out of the way. Look what he did to the Nixon administration. Plenty of people had a motive!

  18. weedusersince91 says:

    The world is so …
The world is so up until now and this case is unsolved .
This documentary is bullshit Chapman is not the key in these case . they always blame the Drug use, obsession about john and his mother , Catcher in the rye Bullshit / how bout the Government ? why the Host didnt talk about the Government?

  19. skaterchad69 says:

    Is that the ACTUAL …
Is that the ACTUAL gun that was used at 5.15?

  20. pishdad says:

    People look John …
People look John Lennon was assinated just line Lady Diana , Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy, & John F. Kennedy by the Illuminati of Isreal & the Rothschild Family of England!! John Lennon had becom e too great a figure of peace throughout the world just like the people previously mentioned! The guy who pulled the trigger was just a looser like all the other loosers they exploit to complete their dark adgenda!! Remember people Lennon was too big a champion of freedom & liberty like the others

And the fact that he SAID he did it…does not matter

  23. Exiles800 says:

    I’m not sure what …
I’m not sure what your point is? My point was that the forensics and other eyewitness accounts pretty much show MDC killed Lennon. Some are suggesting the gateman Perdomo was a CIA plant who did the shooting. That’s kind of crazy IMO. If Chapman was a Manchurian Candidate then why not have him do the shooting too? You’ve gone all the way so why complicate it with other shooters? I don’t see it. Hollow point damage. Evidence of MDC obtaining hollow points in Georgia. Emptied gun on sidewalk. ???

  24. midwife1972 says:

    Exiles800: Sonny, …
Exiles800: Sonny, you dont know that any of what you have just stated is true as you were not there as I was not there also. What I have done is to look deeper and read further than the official and sadly accepted version of events.

  25. Exiles800 says:

You have to be a …
You have to be a nut to ignore all the evidence of MDC buying the same ammunition that was found in the murder. The same emptied gun and people who were right there when he fired it loudly. Who else fired loudly from right there in front of Lennon at close range? What are you a lunatic? Troll?
