I have just finished my Beatles Discography, and want more! I am looking for a greatest hits CD or if there is not one of the what is his best album. Thanks.
PS If there is a greatest hits album, what is it called. Thanks!
All Things Must Pass
This epic album has many songs written by George when he was with the Beatles but there just wasn’t enough room for them on Beatle albums.
I know exactly how you feel. After I finished getting all the remasters (Sgt. Peppers-what an improvement!) I picked up the following albums:
Imagine-John Lennon
Legend-John Lennon
(the best of the many compilation albums)

Ram-Paul McCartney
(this album reminds me the most of the Beatles because of the amazing harmonies and melodies)
Wingspan-Paul McCartney & Wings (most comprehensive McCartney collection)

Ringo=Ringo Starr
(the only Beatle solo album with all four Beatles on it-the remaster also has my favorite Harrison/Starr collaboration: "It Don’t Come Easy.")
All Things Must Pass-George Harrison
(my favorite of all the solo Beatle albums.)

I believe his most popular is "All Things Must Pass" which include the songs My Sweet Lord and What Is Life.

Start with All Things Must Pass. Probably his best. The follow-up, Living in the Material World is really good. Although it was posthumously put together after George died by his son and Jeff Lynne (of ELO), Brainwashed is not bad.

All Things Must Pass. I bought the LP or LP’s when it came out and Dave Mason and Eric Clapton play some great guitar on it. Sides 5 and 6 are great jams.
