I have a music blog that I haven’t done much with, it is mainly technical stuff like lists of albums by year and ranking bands etc… What do you think I should do next with it? Here it is (earliest post is at the bottom):

One idea I’ve been considering is reviewing bands/albums, starting with either The Beatles discography or maybe going in order chronologically of any bands I feel like reviewing. Or maybe I’ll start with obscure prog bands etc. as that is one of my main interests… or perhaps I’ll focus on more modern releases first. Another idea is doing band bios… I’ll start with 20th Century stuff like Jazz and popular music but I might move on to Classical too.
But anyway, tell me what you think, what ideas do you have as for where I should go with this blog, try to be original and think of ideas I haven’t stated but you can recommend what things to review too.
BQ: Favorite album of this year so far?
Jerry in my ranking D and E level still have some good stuff, overall those genres have way more bad than good tho. And of course the list is subjective, I don’t take it all the seriously, it could use some revision too.
That goes for D and level artists too, although a D artist I would call "decent/pretty good" and an E is "ok/average".
Sexy Tuba maybe I will review porn… at least it’ll get more views… -____-
I’d stick with the obscure prog bands idea. Or maybe like ‘Frick’s Picks’ in Rolling Stone magazine, review a few albums you know are fairly obscure and something to maybe expose new listeners too.
BQ: ‘Plastic Beach’ – Gorillaz
Porn, lots o’ porn
hope that helps

I feel sorry for your keyboard; you do a lot of typing.
Very interesting blog topics. I liked the Genre hierarchy.

Screw you for putting two of my favorite genres in E rank (Indie Rock and Hip-Hop)
Lol @ your ego too. I hope you don’t take your list too seriously. I can’t believe you put OutKast in D level in your bands by decade list.
Your classical list needs more Debussy and Chopin and Rachmaninoff and Bartok. John Cage is a loser. Your jazz list lacks Kneebody, Art Tatum, Oliver Nelson, and Count Basie’s band.

Anyway, you should review albums and post mediafire links to every album review like any good music blog does.
BQ: Vampire Weekend – Contra

Yep classic elitist "i love jazz and classical but i hate black metal, let me show you my superior taste in music, look at it and weep because you havent heard of all the obscure bands i have".
your music elitism is being taken away from as listing soundtrack as a genre. what if a soundtrack consisting of nothing but black metal??

I saw your neverending list. I used to collect CDs and comic books. I had easily over 500 cds. Anyways, I ended up getting rid of them. The value of CDs have gone down so much from the original prices I bought them for. It was not a good investment. The list of wants never stopped. Many of the CDs I owned I stopped listening to over the years. It was kind of ridiculous. I do like the fact that we can now put our favorite songs on MP3 players…etc… as opposed to having entire CDs for a few well-liked songs. I’ m pretty much trying to simplify my life now. I do recommend that you see Equilibrium, it is a very interesting movie, as well as the Good the Bad and the Ugly. Also you might like The Island, Gattaca, Tombstone, The Matrix, The Joy Luck Club, Europa Europa, Empire of the Sun, the Ten Commandments (w/actor Charlton Heston). I like a lot of old epic movies too.

Nice site, reviewing is always good for blogs and such, so you should definitely try that. I’d go with reviewing some obscure, less popular bands, that way people don’t have to just see what people think of bands they’ve heard of. Band bios sounds great as well.
BA: The Black Keys – Brothers
