I know for sure that Eric Clapton did soloing in While My Guitar Gently Weeps in the White Album but I do not know if he did anything else in The Beatles. I heard that he did a bit in Abbey Road but I would just like to know which songs. Thanks.

Yes, indeed you’re right. He did the lead solo part on Harrison’s "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", but not that I know of on any other Beatles albums. Abbey Road was the Beatles last and private album – that explains why that there aren’t many photos nor videos of the Beatles working and rehearsing for Abbey Road, except for the ones shown in the Let it Be film. Clapton also played guitar on the white album [disc 2] "Yes Blues", and yes I am very sure he played the lead guitar solo on that song. He also played on John Lennon’s solo album Plastic Ono Band.
I hope I don’t sound too nerdy with all this informiation, I just love The Beatles music & history. Hope this helps.

No,While My Guitar Gently Weeps was the only Beatles work he did and he didn’t even want to do that!
Eric was actually very reluctant to come to the session,in fact he said to George and I’m paraphrasing slightly:"George,this is a Beatles song and outsiders don’t work on Beatles songs!"
To which George replied(in so many words):"Oh! sod that,it’s my song and I want you on it!"
Now I do know that Eric was one of the few musicians to actually appear on the solo albums of all 4 ex Beatles!
