Can anyone tell me why Itunes dont have Beatles albums to buy?

They only have Beatles cover albums and karaoke tracks. Anyone know why this is?

There are 2 theories that I know of:

    1. Apple Corps. (The Beatles record company) had a lawsuit with Apple Inc. (Computer company) because Apple Inc. took their name. They signed a document stating that Apple Corps. would never go into the computer business and Apple Inc. would never go into the music business. Apple Inc. created iTunes, which conflicted with the document, so Apple Corps. won’t let them have the Beatles’ music.

    2. The Beatles want their records sold as a complete, instead of buyers having the option to buy individual songs, which iTunes won’t allow, so the Beatles say forget it you can’t have our music on iTunes. By the Beatles I mean Paul, Ringo, and Yoko Ono.
