Something(Harrison)- Abbey Road (1969)
Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me
I don’t want to leave her now
You know I believe her now
Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don’t need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me
Don’t want to leave her now
You know I believe her now
You’re asking me will my love grow
I don’t know, I don’t know
You stick around now it may show
I don’t know, I don’t know
Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me
Don’t want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

What are your favorite lyrics? What song are they from?
"Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see."
-Strawberry Fields Forever
I was just wondering what the most popular beatles songs were.
According to BBC America the top ten best selling Beatles "Singles" of all time were.
1: I want to hold your hand
2: Hey Jude
3: Can’t buy me love
4: She loves you
5: Get Back
6: something
7: Let it Be
8: Twist and Shout
9: Love me do
10: Please please me
Their best selling album was "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts club band" with 31 million copies sold. Number 14 on the all time top selling albums list.
There are these two beatle bags which I love but I can’t decide which one to get. The First one is the sargent Pepper’s Lonely hearts club band bag. This one is cheaper but the only problem is that it doesnt have a picture of their faces on it which I really want! Here’s a link:

The next one is a ticket to ride bag which is great because it has their faces on it and ticket to ride is my favorite song (well one of them) The only problem is this one is more expensive. Here’s the link to that one:

I love them both and just can’t decide! What do you guys think is better?
The second one. It has their faces on it, so people will actually know it’s a Beatles bag. The first one is just navy blue and has a design on it and it’s very nonchalant. So, yes. The second one is better.
I want to buy one of the new Stereo re-releases of The Beatles albums but I dont know where to begin!
I know their songs but I want to get into their albums!
Where should I start?
Please Please Me
With The Beatles
A Hard Day’s Night
Beatles For Sale
Help!
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Magical Mystery Tour
The Beatles
Yellow Submarine
Abbey Road
Let It Be
From what Ive heard, I enjoy their later work a lot more than their earlier..so any help?
You can always buy the compilations and anthology’s, but if you want to experience The Beatles the way the world did, why not get them in the order of their release? This is the way we got to know the Fab Four, and it’s the best way to trace their musical growth.
Then I would recommend that you listen to them the same way we did: play one album over and over. Take time to get into it before moving to the next release.
Im making a cd for meditation and i was trying to think of some slower or softer Beatles songs.
I made a CD too of just their softer and peacefuller songs, here is a list of what I did:
Here Comes The Sun – Abbey Road
Sun King -Abbey Road
Julia – The White Album
Dear Prudence – The White Album
Happiness Is A Warm Gun – The White Album
Blackbird – The White Album
I Will – The White Album
I’ll Follow The Sun – Beatles For Sale
And I Love Her – A Hard Days Night
Yesterday – Help!
Across The Universe – Let It Be
Michelle – Rubber Soul
A Day In The Life – Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
Because – The White Album
Long, Long, Long – The White Album
Let It Be – Let It Be
Flying -Magical Mystery Tour
Blue Jay Way – Magical Mystery Tour
Strawberry Fields Forever- Magical Mystery Tour
The Inner Light – Past Masters
Here, There, Everywhere – Revolver
Within You Without You – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Hmmm, yeah that’s about it! I hope this helps!!!
Rolling Stones’ music is like heroin, its definitely heroin induced. Led Zeppelin’s music is also heroin and crack induced for the most part. I can’t explain it, but The Beatles were too "poppy" for me with their girlish songs. They didn’t rock hard enough with their love songs, something Rolling Stones & Led Zeppelin did. I feel The Beatles were much more about their appearance than their actual music. Listening to Rolling Stones & Led Zeppelin resonates an energy in you, but The Beatles don’t.
It’s the blues influence.
If the Beatles spent more time with Muddy Waters and less time with Mahesh Yogi, they probably would have had better tunes.
