I need this information for a presentation I am doing and I cannot find it online, anyone know??? Quick answers are greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know the Beatles Sales figures for each single, ep and album released in Ireland. Also, does anyone have the Beatles Full Irish Discography aswell

EMI/Parlophone, the Beatles’ label, does not generally release detailed sales info. As far as I know, the Irish discography follows the UK releases.

I want to make an offer on two original Beatles albums; Revolver and Abbey Road but i really don’t know how much they would be worth together. the owner says they’re in mint condition.

we are having a debate at school and i think Paul is better but my friend thinks john is. if you have reasons to that would be great !

Paul’s of course a much better (as in, more technically skilled) instrumentalist – pianist, bassist, drummer and guitarist. As for vocals, he sang off-pitch much less often, but of course the whole question of ‘better’ or ‘worse’ is a matter of opinion.

As for songs, Lennon made further use of ‘odd’ and ‘exotic’ elements, such as the modulation in ‘Do You Want to Know a Secret?’, the form in ‘Happiness Is a Warm Gun’, etc.

McCartney was obviously more musically-minded when it came to arrangements. Not in vain, he co-wrote the orchestral score for ‘A Day in the Life’ and came up with the trumpet solo in ‘Penny Lane’ (which George Martin transcribed and David Mason played it).

Lennon wrote more songs for The Beatles, but Paul wrote more hits.

It’s up to personal taste at the end of the day.

My girlfriend bought me a used copy of the 1st anthology dvd from hastings, but she bought it out of state and of course cant get the other 2. anybody know any websites where i can get the dvds individually instead of buying the whole set?

I went and bought this great framed original picture of Paul McCartney today at Recordland ..actually traded a cd for it :p pretty great deal I think ! They have some pretty nice framed pictures but I just want posters and they don’t sell em. Does anybody know any other places in Calgary where I can find Beatles posters they don’t have to be framed or original, brand new would be nice too lol.

There is the movie poster shop on 16th ave and Centre St. It’s the one with the big King Kong climbing the empire state building on the front.
